Suggested Products
Here I'll post a list of products you should keep stocked which are easy substitutions in most recipes that call for animal products or products that contain gluten. Its just going to be a running list so check back in on occasion.

You're going to need to get nutritional yeast for everything so get the largest size available. Think Costco on steroids. If vegans have an addiction is this. I see my partner put it on everything from salad to pizza.
This shit is awesome. It deserves to be the first thing on any vegan/gluten free suggestion list. If you can't find it in your area make a friend somewhere its sold and have them overnight you some.
This is a really good substitution for any broth. I've found vegetable broth is a little bland so do yourself a favor and get some of this.
Jackfruit...what the fuck is jackfruit?!?! Its crazy looking, it has a good "meaty" bite and it actually tastes good with some seasoning. Do not buy a whole jackfruit unless you know what you're doing. Just go get the canned "in brine" kind if you can find it. Trader Joe's sells their own brand of it. The link takes you to a recipe you can checkout.
Bob's Red Mill has a good all purpose gluten free flower that can work for making any kind of bread or pasta from scratch. We haven't tried making much with it but what we have use it for its pretty good.
Okay no laughing. You should buy one of these tofu torture devices. I'm not a huge fan of tofu but after my partner got one of these she was able to make some things that tasted pretty good. Oh and only by extra firm tofu if you can.
Chickpeas or Garbanzo Beans. Pretty much in every vegan/gluten free recipe for some reason. Just go get a shit ton because I promise you'll use them. Get the canned ones because you won't remember to soak the dried ones and you just look like a strange prepper if you buy a big bag of dried beans.
Just started using this gluten free/vegan Worcestershire and its pretty good. Plus all your vegan friends haven't heard of it so you can look cool.
My partner doesn't like this but I think its pretty good. Doesn't necessarily taste like meat but has a good bite and is an easy snack everyone can enjoy.
New Belgium's Glutiny is a good substitute for actual beer. There are a bunch of different kinds out there but I was happiest with this one as far as mass marketed beer goes. If you can't find Glutiny checkout other "gluten-removed" beers. They won't have you wondering what you just drank like a sorghum beer.
If you need to make something other than eggs in the morning get some of this stuff. It does has an "eggy" taste. Just make sure to throw some other veggies in the scramble too to mix it up a bit.
Get some Mac & "Cheese." You'll realize that a lot of recipes are time consuming so having some quick meals is a good idea.
Get some nut cheese. Forget diaya, it tastes like it went bad before you bought it and melts all weird if you put it on anything hot. There are a ton of different nut cheese out there. Don't stress about which is best because they all kinda taste like mozzarella anyways.
I'm just going to lump this all together. All vegan recipes have some kind of nuts in them for some reason so just go get a bunch of raw nuts. Make sure they're not salted unless a recipe calls for that. In general they just want raw nuts....there is not link in the picture because if you can't think about where to buy nuts you've read too far down this page.

Needing something other than butter and different than olive oil? Try this mystery plant based butter. Not sure whats in it but it looks and cooks a lot like real butter. Don't get hung up on which of their products to buy, they all taste the same.
I'm going to throw a non-vegan product in here because I was pretty impressed with the brand. They do have some vegan flours and doughs but looks like all their pasta contains eggs.
These grain free tortillas are great. We make tacos probably once a week and I could live off of quesadillas. I like my flour tortillas but my partner digs these and they are pretty easy to heat up on the stove.
These people make a bunch of different vegan/gluten-free seasonings. My partner uses it on a range of things. Popcorn was a good thing to add it to.

You're going to need to get nutritional yeast for everything so get the largest size available. Think Costco on steroids. If vegans have an addiction is this. I see my partner put it on everything from salad to pizza.
